Absolutely superb activity! 10 men on a stag/bachelor party. All returned safely after 1hr 30mins driving around Munich led by two super guides Antonia and Constantin with booking arranged seamlessly online and then reminders and advice from Stephan. Great tour with Jonah through the city of Munich! Unique experience for the whole team
Sensational tour through Munich on a sunny Thursday in October 2024. Our guide Jonah showed us the most beautiful places and told some stories from the districts. We felt well and safely looked after at all times. People in the cars or on the sidewalks always waved at us, no matter where we were. The tour was great and at the end we didn’t want to get out of the hot rods. Thank you for the lovely afternoon.
Fabio was an amazing group leader, so generous, funny and professional at the same time !! We were 8 and had such a great time celebrating my dad’s birthday. Fabio went above and beyond to make this experience unforgettable. Couldn’t recommend more !!

I chose the 3h experience which was AMAZING, the 4 stars are cause the break at the lake is a bit small and they should highlight better at the website that a driving licence is needed.

By chance we came across the Hotrodfun Munich website and gave it a try. The instructions were very good; the vehicles in very good condition; The route through the city was well chosen, so that a few months later we also took the second route to Lake Starnberg. The smell of gasoline and the drive through the countryside were great! The idea is so cool that we also did a trip like this in Frankfurt – so we’d like to look for it in different cities.
The trip was fantastic! The cars really took off and ran flawlessly. Viktor gave an excellent introduction and was extremely friendly. I highly recommend it!

My son gave me the country tour to Lake Starnberg for my 70th birthday. We had a lot of fun, we really 👍 enjoyed it 🤗🤩. The tour was led very professionally by Lou and we had a lot of laughs with her 😆. The cars 🏎️ were lively and easy to drive, even in the tight city traffic of Munich. We had nice, laughing spectators on the side of the road who also had fun. It was even more fun out in the country, good speed, direct steering, CoKart feeling. The 3 hours flew by – recommended again and at any time😄

The employee screamed very loudly at my child 10!!! Just because he approached the car. My rating has nothing to do with the company. It’s just not acceptable there are children and my wife was still with him. That irritated us!!
The HotRod tour through Munich was a lot of fun!!! We were divided into three groups and the guides Jan, Tom and Lion were really great!!! Booked the FC Bayern Special Tour last Saturday – an absolute highlight! Everyone had incredible fun and the memories will last forever. The whole thing is super organized, the guides are super friendly and competent. Honestly, an absolute RECOMMENDATION!
Today I drove through the city with two very good guides (Tom & Jonah). In short, I found it very successful. Even though we had a bit of traffic, it was a lot of fun.Definitely recommended and worth the price.
This is a riot. Stoti and the owner are super cool and make it fun for everyone. If you aren’t comfortable in traffic or a skilled driver, consider whether it’s the right fit for you. If you are, don’t hesitate, just do it!

We drove the 3h country event. Because we drove in the evening and were only a small group, we moved very quickly. Leo did an excellent job, despite the fact that it was his tour alone as a guide. After 2.5 hours we were back in Munich, but then we still drove half an hour through the city to get to the full 3 hours.Overall we were very satisfied and had negative points on the trip.Thanks to the HotRod team and especially to Leo .D
We went on the country tour last Saturday with our guide Leo. Great birthday present from my two big sons. It was a lot of fun. The driving experience is simply outstanding. The overland route is a dream. And the sound of the rods – especially Leo’s 😉 – is almost worth the trip alone.

Had the 3 hour tour yesterday. The speedsters are incredible fun! Lion was a very competent and careful guide, so that in addition to the fun factor, safety was always guaranteed. That definitely wasn’t the last time for me!
A mega event that I can only recommend to everyone. If you like mini road trips with mini cars, you can’t go wrong here. You sit a hand’s width above the road, there is no suspension, no brake booster, no power steering and you still have a lot of fun. I surprised my girlfriend with a tour to Lake Starnberg and she was thrilled, even though she’s not a car fan. Thanks to the automatic transmission, the hot rods are super easy to drive, even if the 3-hour tour is strenuous. The employees are super friendly and also respond to individual requests. For example, I was allowed to attach my 360 degree camera to the hot rod (at my own risk, of course) in order to take a few photos. Due to the size of the group we got 2 tour guides, Pauline and Fabio. If you have the opportunity, be sure to grab the two tour guides. The two of them are super friendly, take good care of the group and give you a feeling of security, after all, you are the crumple zone in the car and if even just one Polo rushes past you, things can change for you.Overall, highly recommended and I will definitely do one or two more tours.

It was an all around great experience! We were really lucky with the weather, it was mostly cloudy but warm. After a very friendly welcome and a short briefing, the test drive began in the underground car park. Since everything went well and “learning by doing” is the best way to get into something, we went out on the road in a convoy. The city traffic took some getting used to at the beginning, but the reaction from passers-by was consistently friendly and positive. It was just a lot of fun, we were on the road for about 1.5 hours, including country roads at 70 km/h 😀 just great! We also took a break at a suitable place, exchanged experiences and, full of feelings of happiness, we continued with the greatest driving fun. Towards the end, we went to the gas station, where the little racing machines were properly fed again for the next trip. We booked the whole thing in conjunction with a BBQ grill course and I can only rave about it! The people were absolutely friendly and very competent. The food was super tasty, fresh and easy to eat. Despite several heavy downpours, we were able to escape indoors and it didn’t detract from our great day. A great event from start to finish and definitely worth the money. I would recommend it to everyone. Great team, great experience and the memory lasts forever! 🙂
We were there yesterday with a group of 12 people (fire brigade trip) and took a 2 hour drive through the city and it was great! Everyone had fun and our two guides (Pablo & Lennart) are cool guys and totally professional.We saw lots of beautiful spots and felt like a celebrity. We had the tour of Munich yesterday and it was one of the coolest things you can do. The route was great and Lou and Marcel as guides did a fantastic job. The hot rods have real power and you can feel the road, which is really fun. We can 💯% recommend it. 🏎️

We had booked the 2-hour Hofbräukeller tour on Monday morning as a father-son event 💪💪🥳 The guide Lukas and the entire tour were absolutely 100% fun!! We would do it again at any time and recommend it immediately!!
A successful change from everyday life. I and our small group of 5 vehicles really enjoyed the tour through Munich to various sights led by Jan. The weather was good and the hot rods stood out in traffic. A good idea from the organizer to get these vehicles on the road with TÜV certification. I wouldn’t have thought that this would be possible in bureaucratic Germany.A suspension on the hot rods would increase driving comfort. The residents would also like a noise reduction, but both of these counteract the individual appearance of the vehicles.Thank you for the idea of these vehicles and the long journey to get them on the road.

Our guide Matthias took great care of us and also told us a lot of interesting facts about hot rods.The fun factor was enormous and so we were constantly grinning.Conclusion – this wasn’t our last tour with Hot Rod Fun!!! This was so much fun and easy to do. Our guide Lou was amazing and gave us detailed instructions and was always checking we were still behind her. The Hot Rods are clean and well maintained and we always felt safe. This was the first time we had done something like this and we were excited and nervous but felt comfortable very quickly. We would both highly recommend it and if we return to Munich, we will do the countryside adventure.

Did the 3 hour country tour.It was a lot of fun and there isn’t a bit of over-promising! We were able to fully extend the cars a few times and let the wind really blow in our faces.Of course you have to get used to the cars a bit first, but it goes pretty quickly and you can enjoy the ride.Lou led the tour really well and we always felt like we were in good hands with her. She explained everything very well, answered all questions and we didn’t feel unsafe for a minute.We will be back!
Driving these mini cars around town is pretty fun. Everyone turns around and cheers you. They have motorbike engines, so also quite good acceleration. They are, however, also noisy and stinky. You go around breathing polluted air for two hours. I believe it’s time for a new generation of these with electric engines.

The HotRods are incredibly fun and Kathi as a guide is great. She knows all the routes and alternative routes and it’s just fun and in a good mood with her. We will definitely book another – perhaps longer – tour.

Go on a bike ride at your next bachelorette party or company party! 🙂 Saves people/children/animals in the city countless unnecessary decibels and exhaust fumes. It’s really uncomfortable, hence my rating. Anyone who earns money with this or spends money on it must also know how they directly limit the quality of life of others.

Unfortunately our tour was canceled due to bad weather. The contact was super uncomplicated and the refund also went smoothly. Hopefully the weather will be better next time.
What can we say: We couldn’t have found anything better as an active start to our team event! Our fingers are still tingling, we have the smell of diesel in our noses, the feeling of happiness in our stomachs and the adrenaline in our blood: that’s what two hours of fun with the hot rods, led by the ultra-friendly guides Marcel and Stefan, manage. Both of them guided our group through Munich brilliantly, explained everything perfectly and also entertained us at the same time! 10 out of 10 points, the two of them even organized brilliant weather for us. 😉

You have to try this when in Munich . Most fun I’ve had in 3 hours 🙃. Victor was a great guide and and it was pukka …. American Grafiti in miniature lol 😆. The owner who a blast even recommended a bavarian tavern 10 out of 10 .Please enjoy
We had a blast today…these go a lot faster than I anticipated, you’ll maintain all speed limits very easily. I’d recommend the early bird countryside tour to anyone thinking about doing this. There’s less traffic, plenty of places to open it up all the way and just cruise! Thank you, Victor!

Was extremely fun. I would have preferred to do another tour.Lou was super nice.The only drawback, which was a total no-go for me and really killed the fun:The guide should/wanted/had to use a car that still needs to be tested??!and something like that with paying customers during a tour…I have no idea what that means, this hot rod keeps getting greased. In total between 12 and 15x.Maybe you should do something like that if you’re not going on a tour with customers, but are doing a test drive at the same time.Very strange approach.If this doesn’t happen again, I will book a tour again.

A highlight that you absolutely have to do in Munich.We booked the tour to Lake Starnberg with the serpentine ride.The hot rods are incredibly fun.Our guide Stefan was also super chill and explained everything down to the smallest detail, including his hand signals during the ride, very easy and quick to understand. 5/5!
An incredible experience and the ultimate experience. Along with a completely different experience of the city, there will also be an out-of-series party. Even if you have been to Munich, I highly recommend this trip because you will see it in a different way. Stefan is a genius and funny guide.

We booked this tour on the occasion of a JGA. Our guide Viktor explained the hot rods to us in great detail and in a way that everyone could understand.We were allowed to get used to the hot rods in peace in the parking garage and then started our tour. I had a bit of trouble getting started, but Viktor solved that really well by stopping at the closest possible spot and waiting for me with the entire group.After about an hour we stopped at the Hofbräukeller and enjoyed a white sausage breakfast.We would do the tour again in exactly the same way, driving in traffic with such go-kart-like vehicles is just incredible fun!PS: I can’t understand all the negative reviews from residents. If you can’t cope with noise, you should consider moving from a city center to the countryside instead of trying to make life difficult for an entrepreneur. It’s definitely quieter there, I speak from experience 😉

Mega experience that everyone with a driving license should treat themselves to. Cruising through Munich 10cm above the asphalt and rediscovering the city at the same time. Unfortunately, thanks to the super friendly and attentive team, the time passed far too quickly. We also had an absolute stroke of luck with our guide Fabi. Cool, relaxed guy who got the most out of the tour for us.With today’s tour we have fallen for the hot rods and are already looking forward to the next tour, even if we have to wait a while.Conclusion: DO IT!

The tour to the Starnberger Lake was really fun and included exciting twisty roads. Basti was an awesome tour guide. We had a relaxing stop in Starnberg for a coffee and took some great photos. I highly recommend this tour if you want to experience some go-kart like driving through the Munich countryside!
Driving a hot rod has to be experienced to be believed. It’s just incredibly fun.We didn’t do it for the first time and certainly not for the last. The location in Munich is very professionally organized and has a super competent and friendly team – especially our guide Kathi. She explained everything to us very conscientiously and guided us safely through Munich. Thanks to her cheerful and humorous nature, we had a super fun and great tour, right past all the important sights. Simply recommended!

A very invigorating lap (I would have raced into a crowd at 100km/h without a guide) of the ride. The wind was extremely invigorating. (I should have put more on, my fingers would have fallen off.) The route we took showed me parts of Munich that I had never seen before (I thought being in Berlin would be a nightmare) all in all I can recommend Pauline as a guide. (Cute voice)

This was one of the most fun experiences I have ever done. We had a large group of us and we were looked after very well by the guys here. The hot rods are great fun to drive and it was a great way to see the city. This would be even more fun in summer with some sunshine but the cold didn’t spoil it!

It has been a great experience. Super friendly and pleasant. Very professional and attentive. We have been able to visit the most emblematic areas of Munich and it has always been a very easy and fun drive. The guide of our group, Max, has been magnificent. Driving around in those hot rod karts was an awsone experience. Viktor, our guide, was great. Someone in our group got sick on the day we initially booked and the company offered moving our reservation to the next day. Excellent overall experience.
Riding around town with the hot rods is definitely a wonderful way to explore Munich’s landmarks. We had an awesome time around the city with Viktor. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone with a driving permit. The experience was simply awesome!
My wife and I did the 3 hour Munich countryside tour in late October, the trees were changing and the scenery was beautiful. The hot rods are like a street legal go kart. It was an awesome experience to cruise through the country side and Felix was an amazing guide, if you are at all on the fence, do it!

If you’re double thinking of doing this, think no more. You should absolutely take one of these little cars for a ride. They have a great speed that gives you a nice go-kart feeling with precise control. Not to mention the tour guides. Felix and Victor were awesome, friendly and insightful. Thanks again, guys. We have been offering hot rod tours through Munich since 2017. There is a lot to see and experience in our residential city located at the river Isar. The architectural masterpieces from the Gothic, Baroque and Rococo periods alone are a real eye-catcher. These include the Frauenkirche, the Karlstor, our Viktualienmarkt and Nymphenburg Palace. Leopoldstrasse, the nightlife district of Schwabing and the English Garden as well as the Glockenbachviertel and Gärtnerplatz also represent Munich’s diversity. However, Munich not only stands for classic beauty, but also for progress and modernity. The BMW headquarters, the futuristic Hypo building as well as the football Allianz Arena.
Our station is located in the beautiful Berg am Laim district. The former industrial ground place Pfanni Werke was founded here in 1949 and the site was known as Europe’s largest dumpling kitchen. These production facilities have not been in operation for a long time. The site became the Kunstpark Ost close to eastern central station, Europe`s biggest club area in the 2000, nowaydays known as Werksviertel-Mitte. Located in the center of the Werksviertel-Mitte, we opened our new homebase at the Container Collective in 2020. The hot rods fit perfectly into the urban, yet ultra-modern ambience. The Werksviertel-Mitte cannot be missed, it is also home to the world’s largest mobile Ferris wheel with the beautiful Bavarian name Umadum.
After or even before a tour with our hot rods, you can enjoy all the benefits of the entire area, starting with the Dompierre French Bakery, the culinary offerings of Aloha Poke, Augustiner and many different restaurants and cafés. The Werksviertel-Mitte offers a large number of various concerts and events on the central place ‘Knödelplatz’ , stand up comedy at the Quatsch Comedy Club, as well as pubs and clubs. With the Hot Rod Fun Tours you will get the most out of your experience in Munich. The beautiful surrondings in Upper Bavaria are also worth visiting, especially lake Tegernsee or lake Starnberg are popular local recreation destinations.
On the Hot Rod Fun Country Tour, depending on the route, we are driving along the Würmtal valley and make a stop at the Schäftlarn Monastery. Other possible destinations in the surrounding area include Bad Tölz in the south of Munich, Wolfratshausen and Pullach. You can book a stopover at the Waldwirtschaft for some traditional bavarian food as part of special tours, through the serpentines at Schäftlarn Monastery, or for adventourous tours via Lenggries to Spitzingsee or even Kochelsee and up to Walchensee.
